Smoking Habits Revealed

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

The first time a smoker really starts to care about his smoking habit is after 10 or 20 years since he started.Once the moment of “the first cigarette” has passed, that person will not smoke more than 1 to 5 cigarettes a day for a couple of months. But as time passes, and young people grow, they start smoking more and more, and at certain times during a day.

Smoking is nothing more than a nasty habit. And when we say habit we mean a dependency that was achieved by the frequent repetition of some action. If your everyday activities turn very stressful, then you must find ways to reduce the stress if you want to quit. Being a stock investor is a risky business, but you can diminish risk by using how to profit from foreclosures materials.

There are other habits we have, but we can not compare them to smoking, because smoking is a real danger to our health. If you only browse through the available smoking materials over the Internet, you will still understand that someone who smokes for 20 years will live a lot less that a person of the same age who never smoked. After 20 – 30 years of smoking, people will start showing the negatives effects of cigarettes, by either developing cancer or other respiratory or cardio-vascular diseases. Because these diseases take time to appear, when they do it’s already too late to quit smoking by will, because you have already been dependent to nicotine for a long time.

It’s clear that quitting is a lot harder than starting. According to the majority’s opinion, the main reason is the dependency that installs itself rapidly, even in 6 months, especially if you start as a teenager. Out of all components of a cigarette, the nicotine is the only one that can cause dependency. Nicotine dependency shows a few distinctive factors: the many tries of quitting without success, the need for a cigarette which growth with every month and the mental need of happiness, which can be produced by nicotine. Because nicotine can boost our mood and improve our intellectual performances, we tend to not want to let it go.

No matter how great the pleasure implied by a cigarette might be or the stimulant effect of smoking over intellectual activities, is it really worth risking your health? Nicotine dependency is compared to the dependency caused by drugs as heroine, so it can not be left aside. Next to nicotine we also breathe substances similar to those used to gas people to death during the second world war, so quitting this nasty habit is a must for everyone.

7 Steps To Control Your Smoking Urge

Friday, June 11th, 2010

Trying to quit smoking is a very lengthy process. This can take a very long period of time such as several years, or it could be something much shorter like only a few weeks or months. The exact time frame that it takes to quit can vary greatly but what is important is ensuring that you are coming up with a plan to combat your urges to smoke.

At some point in your experience trying to quit you will encounter a situation where the urge to smoke is very strong. How you handle this situation will go a long way towards your ultimate success. Being prepared for the urge to smoke will ensure that you have a plan to keep your willpower strong and continue on your path to quit smoking successfully.

Take the time to decide exactly when you typically smoke. For example, after meals, after a jog around the block, or even after your shower each morning. Knowing when you typically smoke will put you in a good position to create a plan to combat the urge.

Create a plan for fighting the urge. You can use simple things like a stress ball in your hand or a piece candy in the mouth. You can also try to brush your teeth every time you feel the urge to smoke. Or you can use a mint to freshen your breath.

Stay away from all temptations. If you are eating out, find a table in the non smoking area. Never go into a tobacco store and try to limit the time you are together with other smokers. It will be harder to resist the temptation, if you are continuously around smokers and cigarettes.

All smoking instruments must be removed. This is stuff like matches, lighters and ashtrays. Do also get rid of the smell of cigarettes; either by airing the room or using products like Febreeze. The smell of cigarettes can trigger your urge to smoke.

If you are having a place where you normally smoke, it could be a good idea to rearrange your this area. By breaking the routines it will be easier to resist the temptation to smoke. This advice works especially well, if you typically smoke at the same, few places in your home. So if you normally watch television in your favorite chair while you are smoking, try to remove the chair (or the television). Then it will be much easier to resist the temptation to light a cigarette.

Know your goal to quit smoking; and write it down. It might seem like a minor detail, but it can be a major step towards ensuring that you keep your focus on quitting smoking. If you just tell yourself in your head that you want to quit smoking, it will be much easier to cheat and give into the urge to start smoking again. With written goal, you will be more likely to follow them. This advice can also be used if you are trying to lose weight, exercise more etc. Goals on paper can improve responsibility radically.

Never discount yourself. You will be much more capable of the success if you are certain that you will succeed. Belief is everything. It will help you to be strong when the urge comes. If you are deciding to slip up intentionally, you will find it much harder to get back again. But if you hold on to your devotion to stop smoking you will find it much easier to handle the urge to smoke.

Saturday, April 24th, 2010

So what does the “E-NI Screwdriver” have that a regular Electronic Cigarette doesn’t have?

The answer is really quite simple, a powerful battery that is up to the job.

The battery has a maximum of 12 hours of power, so you must have a Screwdriver MKII Cigarette Kit. The secret of the “Screwdriver”’s longevity is its 900mAh rated lithium battery, which is rechargeable. Most other e-cigarettes have only 130mAh rated batteries.

The heavy run time, typically eight to twelve hours, gives the “Screwdriver MKII” its advantage, especially for heavy users. Your e-cigarette costs will go down tremendously with the “Screwdriver E-NI” Electronic Nicotine Inhalator Batteries because it has power for months. The powerful batteries which are purchased much more inexpensively from different retailers and online suppliers are also not proprietary which are used by this extra-ordinary e-smoking device.

Conveniently The “Screwdriver E-NI MKII” Electronic Cigarette uses a standard Mini DSE901 generic atomizer, but with the extra battery power that it delivers, you will enjoy enhanced performance and better vapor production from the exact dse901 atomizer than you would on the 901 electronic cigarette itself.

The “MKII Screwdriver” moves right to the head of the pack of nicotine inhaling devices as it’s developed and made to high standards and designed in the UK. Think of it as an average electronic cigarette on steroids. Fundamentally, this screwdriver is an electronic smoking gadget targeted at heavy users. It’s got a manual switch that allows the e cigarette atomizer to be preheated prior to inhalation which results in increased vapor dependability and production.

It’s the perfect solution for someone addicted to nicotine, who is anxious to kick their smoking habit and wants to find an alternative that is safer.
